Sony released an update to the PS3 racing game Gran Turismo 5 Prologue peppered with 3 new cars.
Besides the three new cars, Sony added a number of gameplay and performance enhancements to T5 Prologue. One of the new cars is a mean looking Citroen. The GT by Citroen concept car is the result of a collaboration between French automaker Citroen and Polyphony Digital.
The two other new cars are the Ferrari California and the Lotus Evora.

All the conspiracy theories can be put aside now because it’s here: Diablo III has been officially announced. The splash screen from Blizzard’s site has made everyone go berserk and until today everything seemed possible, even a merger between the Diablo and the Warcraft universes. The Blizzard Invitational was to be the perfect opportunity for a Diablo III announcement as it fitted right in the timeframe, with Diablo 2 launched on June 29, 2000 and the Lord of Destruction Expansion on June 29, 2001. True, it’s a day early, but nevertheless we will be seeing Diablo III. The game looks quite good although it wasn’t as mind-blowing as I would have expected. It seems to run on the same engine as Starcraft II (especially in terms of fire effects and splash damage) and the interface remains largely the same with mana and health spheres and the same kind of gameplay we were used to. One addition I find more than interesting consists of the red orbs some enemies will leave behind; these will restore your health without you having to resort to potions.
Diablo III still uses an isometric perspective, despite several rumors, but the engine is completely 3D at first glance and supports full physics (some curtains moved when an axe went past them). For the first time ever, players can even use part of the environment against their targets, by collapsing walls and doing other mischievous actions. In the gameplay demo, Blizzard introduced a brand new class, called the Witch Doctor, to show off the cooperative features. This character has power over minds, can summon pets and control disease and it makes for one hell of a sidekick for the barbarian.
Perhaps some will be disappointed that Blizzard hasn’t been more innovative and pushed the Diablo games into a new direction, possibly a 3D perspective like Hellgate London, but I for one am sure they made the perfect choice. It has all the chances to become even more addictive than Diablo II and, if they don’t delay the launch for too long, I’m sure it will be an amazing success. I have just discovered a hack that gives 1000 Airtel to Airtel Promo minutes and the call rates being 40 paise for local mobile numbers for entirely one month for just Rs.250.
This was due to a bug in the Airtel servers, I wonder how many days this would last long. So let me explain you the complete procedure in detail.
Airtel have launched two new recharges called RC 150 and RC 100.
For RC 100 the call charges to all local mobiles would be 40 paise per minute and Recharging RC 150 will get us a promo Airtel to Airtel 400 minutes.
So here is the hack.....
First recharge your mobile with RC 150 and then with RC 100.
For RC 150 you will get Rs.400 of A-A talk time and recharging with RC 100 will make that call costs 40 paise.
So that's it!!! Now you can have 1000 minutes of Airtel to Airtel and also the call cost for other calls being 40 piase.
The catch is that when i recharge with RC150 the Rs.400 of talk time i get will be costed Rs.1 per minute and the movement you recharge with RC100 even the A-A promo balance will be costing 40 Paise.
Anyhow I was satisfied with this hack....!!!

Google announced this week that Sony has adopted the Youtube APIs on the Sony PS3.
More and more devices like video camera or mobile phones have now direct upload features for Youtube, so why not also a gaming console.
The Sony PS3 YouTube integration allows game developers to create games that enable direct upload of in-game video captures to YouTube.
This will allow you to share and show-off your gaming skills on the largest video platform out there.
This YouTube upload functionality can be incorporated not only into new PS3 game titles, but also existing PS3 titles that have the ability to receive network updates.
Sony has already added YouTube functionality to Mainichi Issho, a popular game with PS3 users in Japan.

DivX announced that it is now offering its video encoding technology to PS3 game developers allowing them to create high quality video for PS3 games. According to DivX the new technology will allow for games with better video embedded.
Game developers can take advantage of DivX compression and maintain high-quality video. DivX says that the PS3 is the first console capable of playing DivX videos. Let’s hope this doesn’t mean longer cut scenes in our games.

Usually we find curious about game footage recording.this tutorial shows the way for it.Using HDMI, you cannot record the video signal from the PlayStation 3 since the signal is encrypted. However, you can record the signal when using a PS3 AV cable - this does mean that the quality will be reduced dramatically. We find it easier to record our gameplay action and tutorials directly to a digital format, but you can record the signal to other devices such as a VCR, DVD recorder or PVR. Check out the tutorial below.
What you will need:
TV or other form of display
SCART/AV cable
A device to record to (we use the Neuros Video Recorder 2). The device must have a AV connection.
o If you use the Neuros MP4 Video Recorder or similar device, you may require a RCA adapter and a memory card (Memory Stick or Compact Flash)
o Alternative options can be DVD recorder, VCR or PVR (Personal video recorder).
Instructions for General Devices(such as VCR's, DVD recorders, etc):
1. If you are using a HDMI connection, change your display to use the AV cable. This can be done by going to [Settings] > [Display Settings]. Don't forget to change your Audio settings too.
2. Connect your equipment up.
The AV cable from the PS3 should be connect to the recording device.
The recording device should be connected to the TV so you can see what you are doing.
Tune the TV, if necessary, in order to view the recording device's display.
3. Use the record function on the device to record gameplay or anything else you can think of.
Instructions for Neuros MP4 Recorder:
1. If you are using a HDMI connection, change your display to use the AV cable. This can be done by going to [Settings] > [Display Settings]. Don't forget to change your Audio settings too.
2. Connect your equipment up.
Use the RCA Adapter to connect the PS3 AV cable to the AV cable that comes with the recorder (connect it to the "AV In" port).
Connect the other AV cable that comes with the recorder to the TV (connect it to the "AV Out" port).
3. Turn on the Neuros recorder and select the record tab. You will see the PS3 display through the preview area of the screen. You can expand the preview to a full screen view by pressing enter on the Neuros remote.
4. You can record what you see by pressing the record button on the remote. To stop recording, press the record button again.
5. You can upload your vides directly to YouTube once done.

Rockstar landed a major sales record with Grand Theft Auto IV with $500 million in sales the first week. From the 6 million GTA IV copies sold apparently 60% are for the Xbox 360 console.
Microsoft's GameScoreBlog published retailer statistics that also show a strong sales increase in Xbox 360 console sales. Xbox 360 sales increase by 54% in the week of the GTA IV launch compared to the previous week.
About 40% of the newly sold Xbox 360 consoles are in combination with a GTA IV game.
The Xbox 360 has still a larger install base compared to the Sony PS3, which could explain the larger share of GTA IV Xbox 360 copies.
Also interesting is that 2.3 million people played Grand Theft Auto IV on Xbox Live in the first week making it the number one game on Xbox Live see you later Halo 3.

Sony held the PlayStation Day Conference in London yesterday. One short key message from the event is that the Sony PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 in Europe.
Apparently the Sony PS3 has outsold the Xbox 360 since October 2007. Sony sold 5 million PS3 consoles across Europe.
As reported in March the Sony PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 in February in the U.S. as well. The Xbox 360 hit back in March though.
It is a nice win for Sony in Europe, despite no mentioning of the currently untouchable Nintendo Wii.

Tutorial PS3 Connecting to the Internet
1. Connection "By Wire" for users who use dialers to connect to the Internet.

2. Connection "Wireless" for those who have Router Brand "Buffalo" WI-FI Airstation with the option "AOSS".
This configuration using a router "Buffalo - WHR-G54S / U".
Starting the configuration of connection "By wire."
1 - Go on "Settings," then "Network Settings".
1.2 - Internet Connection Settings
1.3 - Method of connection "Wired Connection"
1.4 - Custom
1.5 - Automatic detection
1.6 - Manual
1.7 - Here we will make the configuration of IP - Mascara, subnet - Router Standard - DNS Primary and Secondary DNS.
To put the IP if you do not know, just click: Start - Run and type the command CMD and the screen will appear to Pront of DOS, type IPCONFIG it, soon will show:
IP Address
Subnet Mask,
Gateway Standard, the same as Standard Router that is written in the PS3.
The first IP that is telling is the IP that the PC is using, when it was set up, then we will only change the last number:
Ex: 192.168.11.10 PC's IP switch only the last number in the PS3 thus putting 192.168.11.11
Subnet Mask will use the same pattern as it is showing you 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway is the IP of his "router", "modem" that will put in kj Router standard in PS3.
To set the DNS primary and secondary DNS, just call and ask for phone numbers, for those who are in Brazil.

Chances are — no. And we can say this with near certainty this year, based on some interesting recent developments in the mobile broadband arena, where India might just end up as an inadvertent gainer and catalyst.
Sometimes one is called upon to run before one has learned to crawl.
That is what is happening in the cellular space. As a nation we are still to get our collective act together in what is being called 3G or third generation services: the coming together of voice, data and video on mobile hand-held cellular telephony devices at broadband speed — that usually means 1 mega bits per second or faster, but typically around 7-10 MBPS. But time, tide and technology wait for no man (or nation)! At the Mobile World Congress in February, a handful of telecom players showcased services at zippy speeds that made 3G look like a lazy laggard: the technology for want of any brighter ideas, is being called Long Term Evolution or LTE.
The name — to indicate the next iteration beyond 3G and 3.5G — seemed a safe acronym two years ago… when they expected the asking data rates of between 50 and 100 MBPS to occur not earlier than 2010.
Ahead of schedule
But to the surprise of very few, LTE has landed a good two years ahead of schedule. In Barcelona, Samsung unveiled a handset, the Soul, implementing what was arguably the fastest broadband access speeds on a mobile phone that one could actually buy: with 7.2 MBPS High Speed Downlink Packet Access or HSDPA connection. Still in the realms of trials though, was an even faster solution at LTE speeds: 60 MBPS in downlink and 40 MBPS in the uplink.
The demo
The demo used an LTE handset from LG, a base station from Nortel and a video streaming application from Alcatel-Lucent that downloaded a full length 700 MB movie in 90 seconds. Ericsson had its own LTE demo at Barcelona — and Nokia-Siemens even had a commercial LTE product on display: a base station. No wonder one publication ran a headline: ‘LTE on the brain at Mobile Congress!’
In Delhi last week at the Convergence India show echoes of LTE could be discerned, though demonstrations were not to be had.
Alcatel-Lucent’s Vice President for Europe ( Marketing) Phil Tilley, helped me understand the neat solution that LTE might provide especially in countries like India which had the ability precisely because they were late starters — to leapfrog intermediary stages and join the leading edge of such technologies.
Optimised data
Beyond today’s 3G GSM networks, the next advance would be HSPA( High Speed Packet Access) with typical downlink speeds of 14 MBPS and uplinks of 5-6 MBPS. CDMA operators, would need to implement EVDO: Evolution Data Optimised (or Data Only) to provide comparable speeds.
The neat part is that both competing technologies can graduate to LTE without needing to ditch their existing network hardware. In other words the LTE standard (a theoretical 100 MBPS in downlink and 50 MBPS in uplink) is the natural evolutionary path for both streams. They may call it by different names — but the twain can and shall meet.Given this roadmap, some players are already busy smoothing the pains of eventual convergence. Vanu Inc, founded by Vanu Bose, son of Amar Bose, the famous inventor–entrepreneur has created ‘soft radios’ which allow both GSM and CDMA providers to share much of their infrastructure.
At their stand in Delhi, I saw a small table sized chassis called Multi-RAN, powered by the Vanu radio and seamlessly handling 3 GSM and 1 CDMA network.
The infrastructure is being field tested by Vanu with India’s largest network services provider, GTL Ltd. At the stand of Israel-based network provider RAD, I saw further evidence of back-end hardware that worked equally well with any of the competing cellular technologies.
Given that CDMA providers like Reliance are now also bidding for GSM licences, it seems safe to say that such technologies will make it easier for both GSM and CDMA players to reduce costs today so that they can upgrade both technologies to LTE tomorrow.
The upstart in this pretty picture of togetherness is WiMAX the ‘other’ broadband mobile technology that already offers downlink speeds of over 20 MBPS and uplinks of around 5 MBPS. It has its own roadmap to match LTE, megabit per megabit per second.
Legacy cellular operators might find it more rational to upgrade their networks from 3G to the 4G regime of LTE, but no one is foolish enough to predict which way customer preference lies. So everyone from Alcatel to Ericsson to the dozens of handset makers and back haul providers are hedging their bets by putting a bit of technology money on both options. Some like Nokia are using LTE to bookend their more futuristic hand set ideas — nanotechnology-driven ‘flexible’ phones like the ‘Morph’ that one can wear around the wrist like a woman’s bracelet. The wearer of such a device will not be bothered about what fuels her broadband dreams — as long as IT works to enhance her lifestyle.

Things are starting to get a bit more weird, ey? Getting used to this keyboard isn’t something you’ll do in 10 minutes or so - it will take a while for sure. But if you have medical problems with your hands, this might be a good choice since it’s a very ergonomic keyboard. It looks very weird though!
7. The SafeType keyboard
Just take a look at this one. Do you understand how to use it? The idea is that your hands and arms shall be in a more relaxed position while working with the SafeType compared to a traditional keyboard. While doing research for this article I ran across this review of the safetype:
“However, if you have a low tolerance for frustration (and learning to type in a new manner can be frustrating) then your best bet is to stay flat and stick with a keyboard that’s a little more “common”.”
6. Virtual Laser Keyboard
Wow, it’s heating up, don’t you agree? This is more cool than weird though. This laser gadget projects a virtual keyboard on a table or other suitable material, and then interpret your finger movement and pass them on to your PDA or whatever you have it connected to. Cool.
5. The frogpad
The frogpad is a tiny, tiny keyboard - or it would be more suitable to call it a keypad actually. The manufacturer say that you can get up to 40 words per minute if you practice between 6 to 10 hours with it. Any idea why they are calling it a frogpad?
4. The Twiddler 2
What do you say about the Twiddler 2? It looks to be quite painful to use, or what do you think? According to the testimonials at their site, it will take you ‘a weekend’ to learn typing 30 words per minute, so the frogpad wins that round. The Twiddler actually reminds me of those guitar classes I took when I was a young boy…
3. The Orbitouch
This one could be a leftover from Area 51, or a prop from the set of any science fiction movie. Wonder how it works? Here’s what the manufacturer say: “The orbiTouch creates a keystroke when you slide the two domes into one of their eight respective positions. You type the different characters by sliding the domes to create letters and numbers. The orbiTouch also has an integrated mouse, so moving the domes gives you full mouse and keyboard capability!”
The target group for this keyboard is of course people who have limited or no motion in their fingers or hands, and that’s a very good thing - but anyway, it’s a weird keyboard.
2. The Datahand
This product is aimed for people who get pain in their hands from typing with a traditional keyboard - and that’s a good thing. It’s still looks like a very strange keyboard. Everytime I see this one I think of the movie Predator with Arnold Schwarzenegger, don’t know why. I love this one - the keyboard, not the movie.
